The Grand Loft is on the 2nd floor of the Stable House and one of the most glamorous rooms of all - perfect for honeymooners or any romantic getaway! It boasts a large open space with vaulted ceilings, a kitchenette private, large bathroom with gorgeous soaking tub, and a king size bed. The Luxury Suite is on the ground floor of the Carriage House with a private entrance and one of our most romantic suites of all. It features multiple seating areas, a King size bed, in-room soaking tub with chandelier, gas burning fire place and large separate bathroom with walk-in shower. Hasbrouck House is a historic property that was restored in 2016 and transformed into a boutique hotel.
Butterfield at Hasbrouck House features inspired farm-to-fork fare paired with gracious service. The restaurant’s floor plan of intimate dining spaces creates the perfect fireside setting for couples celebrating a special occasion, as well as allowing for larger groups in our private dining room. The revolving menu encourages our regulars to return and try new menu items throughout the year. This gorgeous farmhouse has just been renovated into the perfect rental – especially for those wanting a quick, easy getaway without a car.
In the summer months, guests can enjoy the outdoor pool and seasonal events like outdoor movie nights and flea markets. Our Heritage Room is a quaint room on the third floor of the main building with a queen size daybed. This room has pitched ceilings, a cozy window seat, historic charm, a very spacious bathroom with heated marble floor and is the perfect place for a cuddly couple or solo traveler. Centrally located in Mid-Hudson Valley, there are a number of quaint towns that neighbor Hasbrouck House, while the larger communities of Kingston and Woodstock are only a short drive away.
For adventure seekers, the rock scramble along the Bonticou Crag trail is a challenge worth taking for the breathtaking views at the top. New Paltz is the ideal spot to grab a post-hike bite (we like Huckleberry) and while there, you can peruse the boutiques and antique shops of Water Street Market. Residing guests also receive complimentary hiking passes to Mohonk Preserve, access to Whole Sky Yoga Studio and Ridgewell Fitness Center, plus excursions for craft beer tastings at Arrowood Farms. Nearby, Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park, and Catskill Mountains offer extraordinary hiking and sight seeing. One of our favorite hikes to do in winter is to the frozen Awosting Falls, where a minute stroll takes visitors to the foot of a six-story waterfall. From there, hikers can climb a steep hill leading to Lake Awosting; if you’re not up for the climb, you can also drive up.
Hop on the Trailways Bus and arrive into the small town of Phoenicia, where the house is just a 5 minute walk from Main Street. Walk into town for meals, or prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner in the beautiful kitchen and dining area. The trailhead for the Tanbark Trail is walkable from the house, as is the beautiful Esopus River for fishing, tubing, or just taking a cool-off dip. Two hours from New York City, Hasbrouck House offers a luxurious respite where nature meets history.
The twenty-five room, four-season getaway is housed Dutch Colonial stone mansion dating back to 1757; after a lengthy gut renovation in 2015, it reopened in 2016. Since then, the hotel has broken in just perfectly – and even made a name for itself as the The Americas’ Most Romantic Retreat by World Boutique Hotel Awards. It features a lofted seating area, roomy bathroom and views of foliage, trees and evergreens. The Stable House is just a few paces from the 50ft blue stone swimming pool and is a perfect option for those looking for a cozy retreat. The Heritage Twin room is the perfect "friend suite" as it's the only room in the Hasbrouck House with two twin beds!
